MEET THE DOCTOR
Dr. Courtney Tischbein
Dr. Courtney attended the University of Dayton where she double majored and earned her Bachelor of Science in Pre-Dentistry and Psychology. She spent all 4 years playing on the university Division I softball team as a catcher. Following undergrad, Dr. Courtney went on to complete her Doctorate of Dental Surgery at Indiana University School of Dentistry.
Dr. Courtney grew up in the Chicago suburbs and eventually made her way further south to Tennessee to enjoy the nicer weather. When not working she prioritizes spending time with her husband Phil, daughter Revyn, son Arlyn, and dog Rayne. They enjoy traveling, hiking, pool days, and almost any outdoor activity. In her spare time, she is passionate about fitness and nutrition and enjoys training in Olympic-style weightlifting and Crossfit.
MEET THE DOCTOR
Dr. Phillip Tischbein
Dr. Phillip Tischbein, better known as Dr. Phil, attended Indiana University where he earned his Bachelor of Science in Biology. He then went on to earn his Masters's degree at Purdue University. After completing his Masters he went on to complete his Doctorate of Dental Surgery at Indiana University School of Dentistry. Following dental school, Dr. Phil completed his residency in General Practice at the University of Louisville focusing on oral surgery, endodontics, and implant dentistry. Dr. Phil and his wife settled in East Nashville after falling in love with the area in 2016.
Dr. Phil and his wife wanted to create a dental office in their community to help serve the people with which they live. Greenwood Local is one of the very few dental offices in East Nashville owned and operated by dentists that live in the community. Dr. Phil spends most of his free time with his wife Courtney, daughter Revyn, son Arlyn, and their dog Rayne. They enjoy working out together, hiking, traveling, and trying new local food spots. When a rainy day comes they also enjoy watching a movie or reading a good book.
MEET THE DOCTOR
Dr. Katelyn White
Dr. Katelyn White attended the University of Louisville Early Admissions to Dentistry where she streamlined her undergraduate career and received her Bachelors Degree in Biology. After this, she went right into the University of Louisville’s school of Dentistry where she received a Doctorate of Dental Medicine. Dr. White has spent countless hours expanding her knowledge with many continuing education courses. She has a passion for esthetic (cosmetic) dentistry and is dedicated to the highest quality of her work.
Dr. White grew up on a horse farm outside of Bowling Green, Kentucky. While at the University of Louisville, she met her husband Sam. They have a sweet daughter, Bella and a golden retriever, Sophie. Dr. White and her family live right here in East Nashville. She loves that her patients are her neighbors and wants to do what she can for her community. Give Dr. White a wave and say “HI” if you see her and her family out for a walk.
